2026 Malawi Mission Trip
Message from Hunter Bernal: In May 2026, Covenant Fellowship will be sending a team to Malawi Africa to partner with ongoing ministry work in the Machinga District. Our mission is simple and focused: planting and strengthening churches in Machinga, Malawi.
Working alongside YouTurn Ministries, we use water well repair as a gateway to share the gospel in local communities. Each well repair opens the door to preach Christ, build relationships, and support local pastors and leaders through discipleship and training.
God has already been moving in powerful ways. Following previous trips, local believers have taken ownership of the mission; sharing the gospel, discipling others, and even planting new churches in their communities.
This upcoming trip will continue that work by encouraging church leaders, equipping believers, and meeting both physical and spiritual needs.
